From my friend Jason SpiritualBabies
“Sometimes people apologize to me, ‘I’m sorry I called you names’, ‘I’ve changed my mind about jesus, I’m sorry I blocked you’, ‘I feel so bad about praying to jesus now that I know he is not who I thought’.
No one needs to apologize to me, I’ve been down that road, I know what it’s like. I’m delighted when people lose the idol. Another heart turned to the Creator alone. Wonderful.. and in the Tanakh we read that the King of the Universe feels the same way.
(I advise reading the whole of Isaiah 42)
Here is a teaser.
6 “I, YHVH, have called You (Israel) in righteousness,
And will hold Your hand;
I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the Gentiles,
7 To open blind eyes,
To bring out prisoners from the prison,
Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.
8 I am YHVH, that is My name;
And My glory I will not give to another,
Nor My praise to carved images.
9 Behold, the former things have come to pass,
And new things I declare;
Before they spring forth I tell you of them.”
17 They shall be turned back,
They shall be greatly ashamed,
Who trust in carved images,
Who say to the molded images,
‘You are our gods.’
Some of us have been turned back and ashamed.. but now we are home.
Have a wonderful week.”

2. Personal – He holds your hand
3. He will protect His children
4. He thinks of others and cares for them in their blindness
5. He wants to bestow goodness and light
6. He alone is Gd
7. His chesed is new every morning
8. He forgives
9. He gives hope
10. He gives security and is trustworthy
11. He is just but merciful
